GMMB has a hybrid work schedule with at least two days in office presence. This position is based in Washington, D.C. Salary range $70,000 - $85,000 You are … a Senior Account Executive with a background and/or interest in public health, traffic safety, global affairs, and advocacy who knows how to: Manage communications projects for fast-paced, high-pressured global transportation safety campaign across multiple time zones.
Research, write, edit, and proofread written materials that distill complex ideas, including creative strategy briefs, messaging documents, strategy memorandums, social media content, blog posts, press materials, web copy, advertising elements, and/or general client correspondence. Develop and implement paid and organic communications plans and campaigns, building rapport and credibility with client(s) based on trust and expert counsel.
Coordinate with team members to develop social media content and manage social channels on behalf of clients. Work across departments, including creative, digital, media, and/or production, to develop and implement communications and advertising strategies, media, materials, and creative collateral for clients' campaigns.
Work with team members to develop and manage projects, including budgets and timelines. Support day-to-day client and partner communications, providing tactical support and guidance on communications and/or advertising efforts. Stay informed on client industry and issues. Mentor and provide constructive feedback to peers, collaborators, and more junior staff members.
Actively participate in new business efforts for the firm including developing new business opportunities, writing proposals, and delivering presentations. You have… 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, public policy, government, journalism or a related field. Previous advertising, marketing, or communications agency experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication and writing skills. A strong interest in current events, public healthy, and public policy that improves lives. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects. Excellent client service skills; flexibility to work evenings and weekends - because we're a client services firm and sometimes that's when our clients need us.
The ability to proactively problem solve, mind the details, and see the big picture. Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other apps. Experience exploring AI tools and agents.
$70,000 - $85,000 Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
