Assistant Manager / Manager - Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities

– Accounts Payable Manager Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable function, including accurate processing and booking of Goods, Service, and Import invoices. Ensure timely GST and TDS compliance, including accurate tax accounting and adherence to statutory requirements. Review and monitor vendor reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely closure of outstanding balances.

Ensure invoices, supporting documents, purchase orders, and approvals are verified before payment processing. Manage vendor payment schedules, outstanding payables, and ageing reports to ensure timely payments. Lead and guide the accounts payable team, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and adherence to defined timelines.

Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and other internal teams to resolve invoice and payment-related issues. Ensure accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and compliance with company policies. Drive process improvements, strengthen AP controls, and support month-end closing and audit requirements.

Qualifications

& Skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Master’s preferred). 8–12 years of experience in Accounts Payable and GST compliance, with prior team management experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST laws, TDS provisions, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as SAP, Tally, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
