Sample Supports is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to lead fun and engaging classes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Volunteer activities can be based on your own skills, hobbies, and interests. Ideas may include: Cooking or baking Arts and crafts Music, dance, or movement Games and recreation Gardening Educational lessons Health and wellness activities Job or life-skills activities Other creative ideas you would enjoy sharing Classes may be offered at one of our program locations or out in the community, depending on the activity and volunteer’s availability.

No professional teaching experience is required. We are looking for dependable, encouraging people who enjoy sharing their interests, connecting with others, and creating inclusive experiences. Sample Supports staff will be present to assist participants and help activities run smoothly. Scheduling is flexible, and volunteers may lead a one-time activity or participate on an ongoing basis.
