Event Coordinator

Operational excellence is at the core of what we do. In this role, you will leverage your event management skills to drive projects forward. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to execute, will play a key role in helping Queerchata events thrive.

Responsibilities

You’ll be the point person and lead day-of operations for our Queerchata Class & Social, one of our most attended events Develop a network of partners and vendors that align with our values Partner with door staff, DJs, instructors, and photographers to ensure that events run smoothly Collaborate with our team of program managers to execute top-tier events Support attendees and answer questions Time Commitment This is an independent contractor position and will require 8 hours per event.

5 hours: Event day (set up, break down, and event time) 2 hours: Canvassing | Distributing flyers ahead of the event 1 hour: Prep, communicating with the team, answering emails, etc. Salary $20 - $27 per hour
