Our Critical Care Services at Canyon Vista Medical Center features a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit, an 8-bed Progressive Care Unit, and a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory that together provide a high level of acute and specialized care for the community. In this CNA role, you will contribute to a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care in a dynamic critical care setting.

How you'll contribute A CNA who excels in this role: Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements and recording intake and output. Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.

Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care; works flexible shifts or units as needed Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

What we're looking for

High School diploma preferred Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Arizona required BLS certification required Handle with Care certification preferred Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hard/arm movements. Comfortable with regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
