Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and educational staff in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
• Support residents with daily learning, social, and behavioral needs
• Supervise and ensure the safety of residents during educational and recreational activities
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment
• Collaborate with team members to develop individualized support plans
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents
• Assist with record-keeping and documentation related to residents' progress Skills and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Previous experience in a classroom setting is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and behavior management techniques

Requirements

The applicant must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen/physical. A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License is required. DHS and PDE FBI Fingerprints, Childline and PA Criminal clearances are required.
