Junior Accountant

Good Greek Moving & Storage is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience and a strong foundation in accounting principles. This role offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within one of Florida’s leading relocation companies.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjusting entries Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal management reports Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes Assist with tax preparation, filings, and compliance documentation Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing requested documentation Track and monitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and expense reports Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issues Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong understanding of GAAP principles Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Net.

Suite, or similar) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good Greek and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers.
