What You'll Do:

• Obtains patient consent, health history, vital signs, medication list, and risk factors. Provides care per guidelines, regulations, and patient needs. Manages patient flow.
• Administers treatments, medications, and vaccines. Consults with providers to address concerns. Educates patients on health maintenance and condition management.
• Documents assessments and data in medical records.
• Collaborates with teams to improve care and outcomes.
• Maintains exam rooms, tracks medication/supply expiration dates.
• Assists with obstetrical non-stress tests.
• Handles telephone triage calls.
• Manages new patient records and appointment scheduling.
• Assists in procedures as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid nursing license (RN) in Maine or Medical Assistant (MA) certification
• Completion of nursing/MA training from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or hospital setting preferred.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Current appropriate immunizations as required to work in field.
• Previous experience in obstetrics or gynecology is highly desirable.
