Job description
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering projects within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with safety, technical, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver projects from initiation to completion. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, execution, and close-out.
Manage project risks, costs, performance, and change control to ensure successful delivery. Ensure all project activities comply with company standards, engineering best practices, and applicable regulations. Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting to management and stakeholders. Foster effective communication and collaboration across all project disciplines.
Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and successful project outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Engineering or a related field Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or eligible for registration with a recognised professional engineering body (e.g. ECSA) Minimum 5 years' project management experience within an engineering, mining, or drilling environment Proven experience managing multidisciplinary projects from initiation to completion Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, planning, budgeting, and risk management Valid Code 08 Driver's Licence Valid Certificate of Fitness Fluent in English (written and verbal) Kindly consider your application unsuccessful should you not be contacted within 7 working days.
