Associate Overlay Portfolio Manager

What You Will Do

A primary focus for the Associate Overlay Portfolio Manager will be to assist the overlay portfolio management team in monitoring Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) strategy implementation. This includes using analytical tools to monitor performance and risk. The Associate Overlay Portfolio Manager will also work with the other members of the overlay portfolio management team to refine, develop, and assist in the daily implementation of overlay portfolio management processes including tax loss harvesting, equitization, and multi-year tax managed transitions.

Responsibilities include

Monitor performance of separate account composites relative to benchmarks as well as corresponding institutional composites. Analyze performance attribution reports on separate account strategies to identify key factors affecting performance. Participate in and lead calls with sub-advisor trading and portfolio management teams to onboard new strategies and address model communication issues with existing strategies.

Assist other overlay portfolio managers with active tax loss harvesting process, account equitization, and multi-year tax managed transitions. This role generally operates during standard business hours. At times, business needs may require flexibility in scheduling, including occasional coverage during U.S. market hours.
