Material Handler Lead

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Process orders for outbound shipment
• Monitor and communicate with vendors/ suppliers via email
• Arrange Shipping via email or online booking
• Perform daily resource planning, permit declarations, prepare reports to management and customer.
• Assist in Inbound & inventory functions, coordination and fulfill requests from customers.
• Handle projects such as Kaizen, Lean, Improvement and other adhoc projects Requirement:
• This position requires minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Logistics industry.
• Independent and able to work in fast-paced environment
• Handle online booking of shipments
• Able to multi-task and take on additional tasks when required.

Education

Minimum 'O' levels or Diploma in Logistics. Skills:

• Good working knowledge of the following logistics operations areas – distribution, manufacturing, inventory planning, materials management.
• Hands-on Knowledge in handling MHE such as reach truck, order picker
• Good Knowledge in Trade. Net Permit declarations, SAP Systems and B2B IT Infrastructure is a plus
• Forklift License, Work at Height License will be required for the role. Company will provide for training for those who does not possess the licences. Working hours: Mon to Fri: 8:30am to 6pm
