Investment Operations Associate - Charleston, SC

Position: Investment Operations Associate Firm: Curran Financial Partners Location: Charleston, SC Overview: Our growing financial services firm, Curran Financial Partners, in Charleston, SC is seeking to add an Investment Operations Associate to our team! The ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in supporting portfolio management and investment operations within a wealth management environment.

The purpose of this position is to support the day-to-day trading and operational functions of the firm, including trade execution, portfolio rebalancing, account maintenance, cash movement processing, and coordination with advisors and custodians. This role plays an important part in ensuring account activity is handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with firm policies and compliance requirements.

What you’ll do: Execute and monitor trades in accordance with client investment strategies and firm procedures. Support portfolio rebalancing efforts and help maintain target asset allocations Process and monitor account cash flows, including contributions, withdrawals, and transfers Coordinate with advisors, custodians, and internal team members to resolve account and trading-related issues Maintain accurate account records and documentation Follow compliance requirements, firm policies, and operational controls Assist with ongoing portfolio and account maintenance activities Maintain professional communication with advisors, custodians, and team members What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's Degree preferred At least 1 year of relevant professional experience (excluding internships) Experience in trading, portfolio operations, wealth management, or financial services preferred Active Series 65 securities license preferred; candidates with inactive Series 7, Series 65, or Series 66 licenses will also be considered Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Sound judgment and strong commitment to confidentiality Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly What You’ll Get: Pay & Perks: $65K-$85K base salary Medical Dental Vision 401(k) match PTO Benefits begin after 90 days of employment Schedule: In office: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Paid Stock Market Closure holidays Presented by Advisor Talent Solutions Advisor Talent Solutions, part of the AE Management, LLC family of companies, supports independent advisor businesses with their hiring needs.
