OVERVIEW

Job Duties & Responsibilities Category Strategy Develop and execute category strategy aligned to business goals Build assortments that drive sales, margin, and customer engagement Present category vision and gain leadership alignment Business Ownership Own sales, margin, inventory, and turn performance Lead in-season decisions to optimize results Partner with Planning to manage OTB and inventory flow Vendor Management Lead vendor negotiations and partnerships Manage contracts, costs, and performance Drive joint business planning initiatives Omni-Channel Execution Ensure alignment across stores and eCommerce Partner with Visual and Marketing to bring assortments to life Optimize in-store presentation and customer experience Team Leadership Coach and develop junior team members Set expectations and drive accountability QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree (4 year college degree) or related experience 5 - 7 Years experience in Merchandising/Buying or related field experience, Experience in a leadership/ management role VIRTUAL REQUIREMENTS: At DICK’S, we thrive on innovation and authenticity.
