Description Job Title: Registered Nurse Location: Monticello, Illinois Department: Med/Surg Position Type: Full-time Hours per week: 36 Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts 6:30p-7:00a. No required overtime. Weekend/Holiday Requirement: E/O Friday/Saturday, E/O Holiday. Hourly Rate: $30.82 - $46.24 Shift/Department Differential: up to $6 per hour + bonus shift incentives Potential Bonus Opportunities Available *Compensation dependent on experience # of Openings: 2 Job Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting.

Communicates with physicians’/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate, about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Duties Specific to Medical Surgical Nurse: Reviews chart notes from the current shift/day for thoroughness of documentation. Perform physical assessment. Wound care. Respiratory interventions such as vapotherm, ventilator, nebulizer treatments. Specimen collection. Medication identification. Assist patient in performing activities of daily living.

Assist with monthly crash cart checks. Assist in emergency room when code alerts are called.
