Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹250,000 to ₹300,000 LPM Work Experience: 5+ years Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing for gynecological and reproductive health concerns.
- Perform a full spectrum of surgical procedures including Hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), Cesarean Section (C-Section), Ovarian Cyst Removal, Myomectomy (fibroid removal), and Endometrial Ablation for heavy menstrual bleeding.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient preferences, and evidence-based guidelines.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring optimal recovery and patient education.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to manage complex cases, including high-risk pregnancies and gynecological cancers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency gynecological interventions as required.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and hospital policy development.
- Mentor and supervise residents, medical students, and junior staff in clinical and surgical settings.
- Stay current with advancements in gynecological medicine through continuous professional development and participation in medical conferences. Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/DM/DNB in OBGYN).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical experience in a hospital or tertiary care setting.
- Proven expertise in performing Hysterectomy, Cesarean Section, Ovarian Cyst Removal, Myomectomy, and Endometrial Ablation.
- Strong proficiency in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
- Valid and active medical license with registration under the National Medical Commission (NMC) or equivalent authority.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous medical learning.
- Experience in managing high-risk pregnancies and gynecological emergencies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and medical documentation standards.
