Automotive Detail Technician / Car Detailer – Mc. What You'll Do

Wash, dry, wax, buff, and polish vehicle exteriors to achieve a clean, professional finish Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, shampooing, stain removal, and detailing surfaces Clean windows, dashboards, door panels, wheels, tires, and other vehicle components Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for customer delivery, showroom display, and dealership inventory Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership cleanliness and quality standards Safely operate detailing equipment and use cleaning products according to established procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while caring for detailing tools and supplies Work closely with other detailers, sales, and service teams to ensure vehicles are completed accurately and on time Requirements Previous automotive detailing, car wash, or vehicle cleaning experience preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards for cleanliness and presentation Comfortable performing hands-on, physically active work throughout your shift Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to learn detailing techniques, equipment, and dealership procedures Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Availability to work a full-time mid/second-shift schedule What We Offer Full-time employment with a mid/second-shift schedule PTO starting Day 1 Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Opportunities to develop professional automotive detailing skills Potential career advancement into other dealership positions Career growth opportunities — 97% of our promotions come from within Supportive, collaborative, and team-focused work environment Established dealership group with more than 70 years in Eastern Iowa Turn Your Attention to Detail Into a Career!
