Job description
Painting is a key specialty within the Facilities Maintenance Department. Under general supervision, these employees apply paint, varnish, stain, enamel, and lacquer to protect and enhance interior and exterior building surfaces. They may occasionally work in environments that are dusty, wet, noisy, or otherwise hazardous.
This position is designated as essential, and employees may be required to work during university closures related to emergencies or natural disasters. Painters work under the direct supervision of the Building Trades Supervisor within the Facilities Maintenance Department. Special Note: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
