Paediatric Ophthalmologist

A hospital in Kurnool is seeking a qualified Paediatric Ophthalmologist with at least 1 year of relevant experience. The selected candidate will provide eye care services for infants, children, and adolescents, including the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of paediatric eye conditions.

Qualifications

MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology or an equivalent recognized qualification. Fellowship or specialized training in Paediatric Ophthalmology preferred. Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience. Valid medical registration as per applicable regulations. Good clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

Examine and evaluate paediatric patients with eye-related concerns. Diagnose and manage paediatric ophthalmic conditions. Perform age-appropriate eye examinations and prescribe treatment as required. Monitor patients’ eye health and treatment progress. Communicate clearly with parents or guardians about diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
