Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Description Mile. One Autogroup is now hiring a full time Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Motor. World location in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Compensation

$15.00 - $18.00 The Facilities Maintenance Technician is an entry level position where the skills listed below will be enhanced or trained to the accepted level. A successful candidate will be a self starter, be able ability to work independently with little supervision, and have a proven ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

Basic experience in preventative maintenance routines, documentation and procedures Basic experience in the repair of floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, asphalt and concrete surfaces Basic experience in industrial electro-mechanical systems, plumbing lighting and ventilation Ability to operate commercial landscaping tools and snow removal equipment safely Competent in MS Office platforms and other computerized maintenance management programs High school diploma or equivalent.

Clean DMV record Responsibilities Will Include: Follow all established safety policies, procedures and expectations Promote and conduct good housekeeping practices Flexibility with work schedules in a 24-7 operational environment Being self-motivated with a high bar on quality Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and work loads Assists peer technicians in the repair of electro-mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Assists peer technicians in the repair of fixed building structure Good working knowledge of computer data entry, e-mail communication and internet research Physical Demands: Repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, walking and driving Lifting parts and tools weighing up to 50 pounds Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, foot and motions.
