Accounts Payable Clerk

• Tulsa, OK, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School/GED, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Category: Finance, The Accounts Payable clerk must be willing to work well in a team setting and capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary. This role in accounting carries a level of trust and integrity as they may see confidential information. Position is located at the Tulsa Corporate headquarters. Enter material and overhead payables into ERP system. Charges expense to accounts and departments by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances Attaches packing slips to vendor invoices Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifies federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies Files and maintains records of supporting documentation Assists with annual production of 1099’s Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential May be required to travel between Cust-O-Fab sites for business purposes including meetings, training, etc.

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and abilities High School diploma required 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable Excellent communication, organizational, team and confidential skills required Proficient in working with computers; Microsoft word, excel, outlook Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Physical requirements Walk, sit, bend, stoop, push, pull; lift 20 pounds.

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
