Equipment Operator II - Road & Bridge Mnt

Department: Public Works Grade: 150 Salary : $19.93/hour Job Duties: Responsible for operating specialized maintenance equipment and is proficient in use of handheld equipment, hand tools, and other power equipment; performs asset and infrastructure improvements and manual labor as necessary.

Participates in ice and snow control operations Delivers or removes materials and or equipment to and from field stations or job sites Participates in emergency operations as directed.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED. Two years of experience in an industry related position or craft. Must complete Division specific training as directed. Must obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire Additional qualification dependent on department needs Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug test/background screen.
