Laboratory Practice Representative Floater (Phlebotomist) - Largo, MD
Job description
Oversees the daily operations of the draw site; oversees inventory management; trains new personnel; performs various front desk and phlebotomy duties in an ambulatory laboratory setting including such functions as complete demographic and insurance registration, scheduling patients and/or verifying insurance information, phlebotomy specimen collection and quality checks of samples; and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Completion of an accredited program in Phlebotomy 5 years of Phlebotomy experience 5 years medical office experience General understanding and application of basic accounting principles PC proficiency Strong custom
