Senior Regional Claims Associate – Dach Region

POSITION The selected candidate will become a member of the international Claims department, which provides its services on a global level. The Clients are other insurance companies.

The Claims include very large and complex claims. The Senior Claims Specialist will be serving the DACH (German speaking) region. He/she will be the driving force behind the claims management team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way. The Senior Claims Specialist will be at the forefront of the claims process.

From registering and processing reinsurance claims to providing timely updates. ​RESPONSIBILITES

• Communicate with the clients in German/ English – other insurance companies – within the DACH region
• Collaborate in investigation, evaluation and settlement of claims and adjustment of claims reserves
• Handling claims cases independently
• Cooperate with the team leader in handling very large and complex claims
• Manage claims across diverse lines of business, from initial receipt to successful resolution
• Keep claims records up to date
• Navigate the claims administration system, register and process reinsurance claims
• Communication within the company Requirements MUST
• University education
• Previous experience in claims processing (in any area, life or non-life), reinsurance would be a plus
• Very good knowledge of English and German, another European language is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Very good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
