Senior BI Developer/ Analyst

POSITION The selected candidate will become member of the regional IT team, aiming at the HQ located in Prague. The team is of a smaller size, which provides space for suggesting and implementation of improvements and further individual development.

The selected candidate will become a member of the BI & Data Governance Team managing the overall data management. The candidate should become a subject matter expert in the area of Business Intelligence. We are looking for a person, who is able to proactively suggest improvements and innovations and mentor other colleagues.

At the moment there are many projects in the area of modernisation and digitalisation of the current systems and infrastructure, automation. The selected candidate will get a chance to take part in these projects as well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

design of conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts development and maintenance of data warehouse reporting

• MS SQL, Power BI design and implementation of data migration procedures implementation of Data Governance, including documentation of solutions task automation suggesting improvements in the area of BI analysis/ BI development communication with the stakeholders, gathering and analyzing requirements mentoring of other colleagues TECHNOLOGIES MS SQL Server Power BI Qlick, Power. Shell, VBA, Python Requirements secondary/ university degree 5 years of experience as a BI Analyst or BI Developer deep knowledge of SQL knowledge of any data visualization and reporting platform, Power BI is preferred deep knowledge of data warehousing, data architecture feeling for a graphical design of the outputs (charts, graphs, etc), ability to present data in a user friendly nature good knowledge of English, ability to work and communicate in an international team analytical skills active and innovative approach ability to use common sense NICE TO HAVE Qlik Python VBA Powershell previous experience within the insurance industry Benefits
