Accounting Executive - General Ledger, Finance (1 Year Contract)

Ensure timely processing of accounting transactions with high accuracy Review reconciliation and coordinate with relevant parties to investigate and resolve the differences/issues Lead the discussion with Business/Operations, HQ finance, and Finance Operations team in setting up process flows, financial information and reports Responsible for month end closing, and ensuring that closing is completed within the stipulated deadline Prepare meaningful and good quality analysis on the financial statement Ensure accounting standards, tax requirements, company policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times Handles external and internal audits, and resolves issues highlighted.

Analyse business processes and requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes with technology solutions (e.g. automation) Improve existing processes where possible to drive efficiency in the reconciliation and reporting processes To provide insightful information as and when required by management to support decision making Perform other ad hoc assignments and tasks as and when requested by management.

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Professional qualification in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent Minimum 3 years of working experience Prior experience in Big 4 audit firms is an advantage Detailed oriented person Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Positive attitude, highly adaptable, able to interact at all levels and work independently in a fast-paced and high volume environment
