Playwright Test engineer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright. Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Develop reusable test components and utilities to improve automation efficiency. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios. Execute cross-browser testing across Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Automate API testing and validate backend integrations. Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. Analyze test execution results and generate test reports and quality metrics. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
