Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a world leader in life sciences and biotechnology, is looking for a “Logistics Coordinator” based in South San Francisco, CA. Duration: Long-term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension) Pay Rate: $25/Hr Company Benefits include: Healthcare (Medical, Dental, & Vision) Paid Sick leave 401k Role Summary: The Logistics Coordinator will support daily laboratory and warehouse operations, including inventory management, material handling, shipping, receiving, and storage of laboratory supplies.

The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage laboratory inventory, materials, chemicals, and supplies. Handle receiving, packing, shipping, and documentation. Ensure compliance with GLP, DOT, Haz. Mat, and safety regulations. Coordinate with warehouse, lab, and cross-functional teams. Maintain proper material storage, handling, and equipment cleanliness. Support troubleshooting, process improvements, and customer inquiries.

Complete daily tasks, training, and operational reports on time.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED with science coursework or an AA/AS degree in a related science field. Experience in material handling, inventory, or warehousing preferred. Knowledge of chemical handling, LEAN, and PIT is a plus. Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
