Position Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for monitoring shipments throughout the transportation process to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent shipment visibility. This position primarily focuses on tracking loads, communicating with carriers and drivers, updating shipments statuses, identifying potential delays, and proactively resolving transportation issues.

This is an on-site role at CTS office in Indianapolis, IN Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Regular and consistent attendance are a must
• Monitor and track shipments from pickup through final delivery
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor KPIs (e.g., delivery times, order accuracy, cost per shipment) and implement improvements
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations
• Resolve operational issues, delays, and customer concerns in a timely manner
• Implement and maintain logistics systems and technologies (TMS, Tracking Applications, etc.)
• Perform other logistics and administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills

/ Competencies:

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, customer service, or shipment tracking preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with logistics software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in time management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Skills/Qualifications
• Must be able to effectively speak, read and write in English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma, technical school education, or equivalent experience Expected Hours of Work:
• This position requires approximately 40 hours per week, as needed, to meet the demands of the business and complete the responsibilities of this position Work Environment:
