New Realm Brewing Co. is looking for two energetic, hands-on Taproom Managers to join our Virginia Beach team! We’re a multi-unit facility hosting everything from live music and private celebrations to community events.

There’s always something happening, and we need leaders who bring energy, creativity, and a willingness to jump in. You’ll help lead daily restaurant service, support events, keep us stocked and prepared, and contribute fresh ideas for specialty menus and guest experiences. Just as important, you’ll help continue building the welcoming, supportive team culture we’ve worked hard to create.

We offer flexible scheduling, with availability needed for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead daily taproom and restaurant operations across the facility. Support hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff during service. Coordinate with the kitchen and events teams to prepare for live music, private events, and community gatherings. Manage inventory and place orders to keep supplies stocked and the team prepared for service and events.

Bring creative ideas to specialty menus, promotions, and guest experiences in collaboration with our team. Train, coach, and motivate team members while helping strengthen our team culture. Address guest questions and concerns professionally. Help coordinate staffing, breaks, and shift assignments. Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift reports.

Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and responsible alcohol service standards. Communicate operational needs and opportunities to leadership. Follow and uphold the standards outlined in training and the employee handbook. What We’re Looking For: Previous restaurant management experience is required. An energetic, positive leader who enjoys being involved in daily operations.

Strong organization, communication, and guest service skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and stay calm during busy service and events. Attention to detail when managing inventory, ordering, and event preparation. A creative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing new ideas. A team-focused approach—you lead by example, support your coworkers, and hold the team accountable.
