Director - Quality

Assures implementation, integration, and maintenance of a hospital wide performance improvement program, which is endorsed by the hospital#s medical staff, administration and governing board.# Coordinates all activities and resources related to accreditation readiness, quality improvement, safety, risk management, medical staff affairs and infection control.

Serves as a resource to the organization in quality initiatives and performance.# Bachelor#s degree in health services, administration, business, or a related field.# Certification in quality improvement or a related area preferred.# Ability to analyze information and recommend solutions.# Special skills include business acumen, strategic planning and highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills.

Minimum of three years# experience in clinical patient care.# Minimum of five years# experience in a healthcare leadership role or managerial function related to quality improvement.
