Preschool Teacher Assistant

We are currently seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team and help support our lead teachers in guiding children ages 3 to 5 through their daily learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher with implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities Supervise and actively engage with children during play, meals, and rest time Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Support children’s social and emotional development through positive guidance Observe and document children’s progress and behaviors Communicate professionally with families and staff Assist with classroom set-up, cleanup, and daily routines Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred Previous experience in a preschool or childcare setting strongly preferred Warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Must meet all local/state licensing requirements (e.
