SOC Analyst I

Job Req: SOC Analyst I Location: Lowell, MA (On-site only) About the Role We are seeking a SOC Analyst to serve as a Tier 2 escalation point within our. Security Operations Center. You will investigate and respond to security alertsescalated by our managed detection and response (MDR) partner, handleincidents from triage through closure, and help mature our detection and responseprocesses.

Responsibilities

Investigate and respond to alerts escalated from our MDR partner Perform incident triage, scoping, containment, and documentation Analyze activity across endpoint, SIEM, email, identity, and network telemetry Tune detections to reduce false positives Write and maintain runbooks and investigation procedures Participate in tabletop exercises and post-incident reviews Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in security operations or incident response Hands-on experience with an enterprise EDR platform and a SIEM Working knowledge of Windows, Active Directory/Entra ID, and commonattack techniques Experience with phishing analysis and email authentication (SPF, DKIM,DMARC) Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls,proxies) Job Req: SOC Analyst I 1
