Specialist Retail Finance

Application Closing Date: 19 Oct 2026 Compensation Grade: C Upper Purpose of the Role: Based in Jet Park, this position’s core responsibility is to provide specialist consulting and training on the financial controls and processes in SPAR. Job Description : Build and maintain effective customer relationships Effective communication with internal and/or external customers Check standards to identify adherence or deviations Ensure stores implement and comply with minimum standards as per Audit Report Formulate and agree with Manager and/or Retailer on corrective actions Advise on store systems and train retail staff on application of systems Assist with stock takes and department costings Ensure stores comply with legislation and policies Assess retailer performance and profitability and create budgets and set targets when necessary Cashflow projection and actual (create and analyse) Capturing, verifying and analysis of Retail Financial Benchmark and Averages data Determining & implementing redial action at retail to address issues raised in analysis of benchmarking comparison Extensive technical and operational knowledge of SIGMA Advanced Excel skills Valid Driver's Licence Minimum three (3) years retail administration experience Ad hoc projects Education: National Diploma: Accounting (Required), National Senior Certificate _Matric (Required) Skills: Accounting System, Analytical Work, Communication, Detail-Oriented, Financial Acumen, Microsoft Excel, Retail Store Operations, Working Independently Competencies : Work Experience : Employment Equity: SPAR South Rand is an equal opportunity employer.
