We are a private, state-approved school for students with disabilities located in Morris County, NJ. Role Overview: This entry-level Bookkeeper/Entry Level Accountant Role offers valuable, foundational experience in a finance department.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and New Jersey Department of Education regulations Process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) as needed Assist with supporting payroll reporting as needed using ADP Workforce. Now Record journal entries and assist with invoice processing Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation Help support performing general ledger and account reconciliations What We're Looking For: Experience : 1-2 years in bookkeeping or accounting, with familiarity in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other Office tools Education : Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, of Business Administration preferred) Skills: Excellent organizational skills, a knack for numbers, and a willingness to learn and grow Bonus Experience: Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and NJDOE private school accounting practices Why Join Us?
