Library Supervisor

WCPL is hiring an Adult Services Manager for its Cary Regional Library , located in downtown Cary, NC. In this role you will work as part of a management team at the library, and more specifically, supervise a team of dedicated Librarians and Library Assistants who work in the Adult Services department .

You will also collaborate with your peers and Librarians across the system to create and promote quality adult services and programs.

Key responsibilities

Supervise a team of Librarians and Library Assistants in providing excellent library service, dynamic programs and professional one-on-one assistance to adults. Work as part of the library's management team to oversee operations and act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Library Branch Manager. Work with library staff, peers and librarians across the system to support and promote system goals and initiatives.
