Bus Driver

The Crawford County R-II School District is seeking to hire bus drivers immediately. Essential Job Duties Including, But Not Limited To: Transport students over specified routes according to an established time schedule Transport students to events and field trips Comply with traffic regulations Drive safely and professionally Enforce the student discipline code Perform required pre-trip inspections Supervise students while transporting them Monitor and report fuel consumption, mileage and passenger numbers Report delays, accidents and emergencies Inspect the bus thoroughly before and after each trip Qualifications and Benefits: Class P with S endorsement required (bus drivers license training is available if not currently licensed) Must be able to pass a background check Crawford County R-II operates on a 4-day work week Retirement, fully paid BOE medical insurance option, and other ancillary benefits available Pay: Starting pay at $20.
