Safety and Security Coordinator

The Position The Safety and Security Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day implementation of safety and security measures across Mercy Corps Ethiopia. The role involves conducting risk assessments, monitoring security developments, managing incident reporting, coordinating field movements and emergency preparedness, and providing staff security briefings and training.

The position reports to the Head of Operations, with technical guidance from the Security Manager, ensuring compliance with security standards and providing timely recommendations to support safe programe and operational activities.
