• Med Surg Location: Lawton, Oklahoma Specialty: Med Surg Start Date : ASAP Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Rate: Range $1900 to $2160 weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week ( Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers) Unit: Med Surg Shifts available: Nights Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30 am Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, weekends as needed (EOW), No call. Position Requirements: Registered Nurse: 1 year
• Required Med Surg Nursing experience: Recent/Current, 1 year at least – Required Travel experience
• Highly preferred Education, License and Certification Requirements ASN or an equivalent – Required BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred RN License for State of OK or Compact
• Required AHA BLS Certifications
• Required NIHSS
• Required Job Description: Provides all aspects of professional nursing care in assigned units (Med Surg) Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
