Outpatient Therapist Facility: Kid's Thrive West Cincinnati Location: 5505 Cheviot Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247 Position: Outpatient Therapist Shift: Full-Time Days Employment Type: Full-Time Make a Lasting Difference in the Lives of Children and Families Kid's Thrive West Cincinnati is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and motivated Outpatient Therapist to join our growing team.
As an Outpatient Therapist, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to children and families in an outpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and other members of the care team to develop individualized treatment plans and help each child reach their highest level of function and independence.

Position Overview
The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients receiving outpatient therapy services. The therapist will provide individualized, evidence-based care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals. This position requires excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping children thrive.
Essential Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments based on the patient's individual needs. Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable, functional goals. Provide skilled therapeutic interventions appropriate to the patient's diagnosis, developmental level, and treatment plan. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Provide education, instruction, and support to parents and caregivers. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, support staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Communicate effectively with families regarding treatment goals, progress, home programs, and recommendations. Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
Complete required evaluations, progress notes, treatment notes, reassessments, and discharge documentation. Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and other collaborative activities as appropriate. Coordinate care and communicate with outside providers, schools, and community resources when appropriate and permitted.
Maintain professional knowledge and clinical skills through continuing education and professional development. Follow all applicable organizational policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. Promote a positive, welcoming, and family-centered environment.
Perform other duties as assigned. Patient & Family Care At Kid's Thrive West Cincinnati, we believe successful therapy goes beyond the treatment session. Encourage caregiver participation in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications
Current, unrestricted professional license appropriate to the therapy discipline and state requirements. Graduate of an accredited therapy program. Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe. Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care. Pediatric experience is preferred. Outpatient therapy experience is preferred. New graduates may be considered based on qualifications and applicable licensing requirements.
