Structural Steel Welder

Responsibilities

Perform FCAW and MIG welding to join steel parts according to industry standards. Inspect welded joints and structural assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations. Understand basic blueprints and welding symbols Requirements: 3+ years of proven experience as a structural steel welder or fitter in a construction or fabrication environment.

Experience working with heavy structural steel Experience with FCAW Welding preferred but MIG or Stick experience is acceptable Commitment to safe work Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time. Lift and carry materials or tools weighing up to 50+ pounds Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots as required.
