Seasonal Retail Garden Associate

Job Title: Seasonal Retail Garden Associate Direct Staffing is currently hiring for a Seasonal Retail Garden Associate for a local retail store in Fort Smith during the spring and summer season . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working around plants, staying active, and helping customers in a retail environment.

Job Overview: This position will assist with receiving plant deliveries, stocking the retail floor, and helping maintain the garden area. Candidates must be dependable, able to stay busy, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Pay: $14.00 per hour Location: Fort Smith, AR Schedule: Flexible hours – schedules will vary based on delivery schedules and store needs.

Weekend availability is required. Job Duties:

• Unload plants and garden materials from delivery trucks
• Stock and arrange plants on the retail floor and garden area
• Assist with watering and maintaining plants as needed
• Keep displays organized, clean, and presentable for customers
• Help maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist store staff with general garden center tasks when needed Requirements:
• Must have verifiable work history within the past year (minimum 6 months)
• Must be clean and neat in appearance
• Must be punctual and dependable (work is time-sensitive)
• Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
• Ability to lift and move plants, racks, and garden supplies
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must pass a drug screen
• Must pass a clean background check This is a seasonal position for the spring and summer months and is ideal for someone looking for flexible work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements
