Job description
This position is at South County Health Center for all areas in the clinic. In this position you will affect the productive and efficient operation of assigned clinic or department through timely and attentive administrative support. The medical assistant obtains and reviews patients complete medical, social and immunization histories and updates the information in the EHR.
The medical assistant rooms patients and obtains needed vital signs and point of care, laboratory testing, notifying the nurse or provider of any abnormalities. Performs age-based screenings.
