JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-71782 Profession: Physician Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Federal Way, WA Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 3 clinic days per week (8a-4:45p) and 1 in-house call shift (7a-7a) Call Type: In-House PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Obstetric and gynecologic patients, including high-risk and low-risk OB, diverse population Average Daily Volume: 18-24 Case Mix: Obstetrics (high-risk, low-risk, twins), Gynecology (annuals, AUB, birth control, surgery consults) FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Colposcopy/Loop, IUD/Nexplanon insertion, ultrasound (with sonographer) Support Staff Available: L+D RNs, CNMs, FPOBs, X-ray tech, MA, RN, LPN/LVN, Lab tech PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 60 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Manage L+D patients Assist CNMs/FPOBs GYN coverage ER Level 1 Nursery Comfortable at CAH JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology (BC highly preferred, BE required) Licenses: Active WA license or Universal License (IMLC) with LOQ in hand DEA: Active DEA certification required (may be obtained during credentialing) Certifications: BLS required Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background history; local candidate preferred (no flights) Duties & Responsibilities Manage labor and delivery patients, including high-risk and low-risk OB.

Provide gynecologic care including annuals, abnormal uterine bleeding, birth control, and surgery consults. Assist CNMs and FPOBs in the OR and triage. Cover GYN emergencies in the ER. Perform office procedures such as LEEPs, colposcopy, IUD/Nexplanon insertion, and circumcisions (if desired).
