What we are looking for
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager leading the construction of a manufacturing facility for coconut processing in San Miguel ZDS. This on-site, 12-month contract role focuses on coordinating site activities, tracking progress, and maintaining project documentation to support timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager with day-to-day construction coordination, work schedules, and follow-up on project priorities. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site teams on workforce requirements, material deliveries, and equipment availability. Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, schedules, progress reports, and correspondence.
Track site progress against the project schedule and promptly escalate delays, resource gaps, and other issues to the Project Manager. Support site safety and quality coordination by tracking required documentation and following up on issues with the responsible site personnel. Organise site meetings, record minutes and action items, and follow up with stakeholders on agreed deadlines.
Prepare regular project updates for the Project Manager covering progress, resource requirements, risks, and outstanding actions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required). At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, site administration, or a similar role in the construction industry. Experience with industrial or manufacturing facility projects is an advantage.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with the Project Manager, contractors, suppliers, and site teams. Knowledge of construction processes and relevant labour regulations and safety standards in the Philippines.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and project scheduling or document management tools. Ability to work on site in San Miguel and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Must be fluent in Bisaya.
