Classroom Aide – Anacortes Family Center Preschool

$20.20–$21.43 per hour DOE/DOQ (+$1.00/hour location differential) 18–25 hours per week | Monday–Friday

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County, we're looking for a Classroom Aide to help make those moments possible at our Anacortes Family Center Preschool.

You'll be part of a caring classroom team that encourages children to explore, play, and grow. From hands-on activities and storytelling to supporting daily routines and helping children navigate friendships, you'll contribute to an environment where every child feels welcome, valued, and supported.

Preschool days are full of surprises, and we need someone who can bring patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude to each one. You'll work alongside our teachers and Club team, offering encouragement, helping with transitions, and making sure children have the support they need to participate and succeed.

Consistency and connection make a difference. Children thrive when they're surrounded by familiar, caring adults who help them feel comfortable and confident. We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team and brings a dependable, encouraging presence each day. This active role includes moving around the classroom, sitting on the floor, bending, and assisting children as needed.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet Washington DCYF background and health standards. Training, including CPR/First Aid and STARS, is supported as needed.
