Sanitation Worker

Primary Purpose: The Sanitation Worker is responsible for performing all duties related to cleaning and maintaining the appearance and hygiene of the production facility. This includes cleaning equipment, monitoring sanitation practices, and maintaining compliance with food safety and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist production with maintaining cleanliness of the facility and equipment
• Monitor work activity in all production areas to identify and resolve sanitation issues
• Ensure sanitation standards are consistently followed
• Clean, sanitize, and disassemble/reassemble equipment according to company procedures
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training
• Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and supplies
• Report any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervision immediately
• Respond promptly to sanitation-related calls or contamination events to minimize downtime
• Promote safety and housekeeping with sanitation staff
• Identify and help correct unsafe conditions
• Support implementation and monitoring of sanitation standards and practices
• Assist in addressing non-conformities identified in quality programs Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must understand and speak English
