Maintenance Technician

Primary Purpose: The Maintenance Technician supports the manufacturing plant with maintenance and repair of kitchen and production equipment, including but not limited to ovens, fryolators, proofers, and coffee equipment. This position is responsible for the overall efficiency, maintenance, and upkeep of the facility and all equipment within.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Service and support maintenance operations for the Central Manufacturing Plant
• Maintain all production machinery, mechanical systems, and support equipment in safe, reliable condition
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment at the facility
• Maintain accurate records and logs of maintenance activities
• Perform preventative maintenance on kitchen and plant equipment
• Prepare and track performance reports for tools, parts, and kitchen machinery
• Perform basic building maintenance and facility upkeep
• Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling, and painting work
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical certificate or degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical or Mechanical Technology, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance repair experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• HVAC experience a plus
• Computer literacy preferred
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Availability for emergency repairs during nights and weekends Physical Requirements:
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl, and reach for extended periods
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
• Able to climb ladders (up to 20 feet), work on rooftops, and use tools/equipment safely
• May work with chemicals and construction materials
