Automotive Service Advisor

Berman Kia of Lincolnwood is looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing team! Location: Berman Kia of Lincolnwood Job Title: Service Advisor Schedule: Full Time Compensation: $100,000+ annually (base salary + commission position) Why Join Us? Competitive PTO Multiple low-cost medical insurance options + free telehealth Affordable dental, vision, and life insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage Paid training 401(k) retirement savings plan Employee discounts on service and vehicle purchases Clear opportunities for career advancement What You’ll Do Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival Gather customer and vehicle information Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts Keep customers updated on repair status and timelines Clearly explain completed work and associated costs Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion Work closely with technicians, parts staff, and team members to ensure a smooth workflow Qualifications 1+ year of Service Writing experience required Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and earn customer trust Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately document service needs and recommendations Proficient in computer systems and automotive service software Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (minimum 3 years) If you’re customer-focused, detail-oriented, and ready to grow your career in the automotive industry, we’d love to hear from you.
