Building Maintenance Supervisor

Oversees complex building repairs using various technical skills (e.g., carpentry, electrical and plumbing.) Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Oversees mechanics/technicians who repair and maintain equipment.

Maintains inventory of operational supplies. Conducts weekly and monthly building inspections for needed repairs and safety hazards. Maintains compliance with health and safety regulations. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities: Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution. Oversees and maintains warehouse and facility maintenance. Coordinates outside building contractors. Keeps accurate records/files of work orders for preventative maintenance and monitors ammonia cooling systems.

Oversees building sanitation. Will assist in running day shift warehouse operations. Warehouse damaged goods champion. Play a key role in external audits. Performs other related duties as assigned.
