Job Description The Department has Maintenance Technician vacancies in the Roadway Operations and Maintenance Division. The primary goal of the Division is to maintain the roads and right of ways in Gwinnett County to ensure safe driving conditions for the public works infrastructure.
Essential Duties
Operates various complex vehicles and equipment, and performs associated labor duties in the construction and maintenance of public roadways, airfields, sewer, water, and/or storm water lines or haul waste sludge to and from facilities. Maintains proper traffic control at work sites to ensure safety for both the work crew and the motoring public.
